Razvan participated in the Training Course “Stay safe in cyber space” organized by PROJUVEN in Torremolinos, Spain
Hello Razvan! Can you give us your opinion about the project “Stay safe in cyber space“?
It was a pleasure to take part in the project “Stay safe in cyber space”. The orginizers were lovely persons and they prepared and presented the project very well. Accomodation and food was very good as well as the city was very beautiful. During the training course I had the oportunity to express my opinions on the different topics, to listen and exchange thoughts with the rest of the participants, discovering the problem from many points of view. I liked the teamwork games and participating in the different activities organized between our groups. The international experience from the project makes me feel much richer.
What are your tips on staying safe online?
My tips for staying safe online are:
- use strength and different passwords on your online accounts;
- be careful to not publish photos/videos in which to appear your ID card or debit card in;
- be careful which public Wi-fi you connect;
- install an antivirus programmes;
- do not access suspicious links.
What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?
During the Training course ”Stay safe in cyberspace” I have gained greater awareness of the problems of the victims of cyberbullying. This is the most important thing I have learned, because sometimes we do “bad” things because we superficially think about the consequences of our actions. So, I have learnt that some jokes, that could appear innocent, could cause a big psychological suffering, and that we should not allow or encourage cyberbullying. The knowledge aquired abouth the topic I would like to use in an active way, trying to stop cyberbullying when I see it. I will also talk between my social groups, giving them tips on how to stay safe in cyberspace and how to recognize and not encourage the cyberbullying.
