Radovan Harňák participated in the Training Course “The NEET Challenge” organized by PROJUVEN in Torremolinos, Spain
Hello Rado! Can you give us your opinion about the project “The NEET Challenge“?
I evaluate my participation in project “The NEET challenge” as very positive one. Our trainers during the project week explained to us the whole situation about NEETs in an interesting way, gave us space to express our opinions and prepared for us interesting non formal activities during which we were able to learn more about the topics and also to get to know each other better.
According to you, what support works best for young people at risk of becoming NEET?
I believe that whether we become NEET or not, depends mostly on people around us with which we spend most of time. So, youngsters should choose wisely with who they will share their time because based on that they will create their manners and their future life. I would recommend to young people to stay active as much as possible and pleasant for them, including the neccesity of getting new skills, as well as introducing sport activities into their daily life.
What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?
I learnt that if we are in a situation in which we need help and don’t know how to continue, there are always people which are ready to support us. But the first initiative should come from us – stay active and don’t wait for the perfect opportunity! I plan to share my knowledge with people from my home city when I will visit them because I believe that for at least few of them this knowledge could get better their actual situation.
