Celia participated in the “Equal Differences” Youth Exchange (Lithuania)
Hello Celia. Can you please give us a general opinion about the “Equal Differences” project?
This has been my second project, so I knew more or lees what to expect from this trip.
I was wrong, it has been an indescribably experience that had change my life and the way I see the world.
The topic, about the rights on the LGBT community, the violence or the human rights, were treated for the group in a fantastic way.
How did the group affect you personal experience during this Youth Exchange?
In this type of project the dynamics are always similar, and team work is indispensable. The group is a fundamental pillar for the project. In my personal opinion is the people who make the project something wonderful or something that is not worth it.
And again, this project had been amazing.
How did the YE change your personal views about gender equality?
I have always been interested in the gender topic as I have been for equality; so before the project I already knew some things. These ten days have change, not as much my theoretical knowledge about the topic, but the way to face it in real life.
