In the beginning of November, Tea and Margit, participants from the project “Turning waste into worth” had the chance to engage a group of kids with the topics of our project, circular economy, the impact of waste we have on the environment and what we can do in order to reduce it.
The event took place in PaNoKe (Pärnu, Estonia) and aimed on teaching kids why is important to reduce, reuse and recycle. During the workshop they shared with them good practices that we discovered during the training week in Spain, such as the new Swedish bicycle that was made from 300 recycled Nespresso pods.
RE:CYCLE, is a stylish urban bicycle made from discarded Nespresso pods that was developed by Swedish start-up Vélosophy in collaboration with Nespresso. It showcases the creative possibilities for the afterlife for the billions of single-use coffee pods discarded around the world every year. More about it, you can find following the link.
