Youth Exchange „Rural but crucial” in Dilijan, Armenia

From 12th and 21st of June 2017, representatives of Asociación Projuven took part in the Erasmus+ project  „Rural but crucial” in Dilijan, Armenia. In the mobility participated 41 young people and youth leaders from 8 countries interested in social entrepreneurship and rural areas development.

The participants had an opportunity to explore and to discover the potential of rural areas from labor market perspective, to re-evaluate and reflect on rural entrepreneurship’s enormous employment potential and as well as it contributed to the identification and development of personal and entrepreneurial skills.

During the 9 days of project, the participants discovered a lot of local examples of promoting rural areas and local people who despite many obstacles have already succeeded or are on the path of their courageous ideas realization. The youngsters could identify new possibilities and develop useful personal and social skills.

Through various non-formal learning methods the mobility increased young people’s self- empowerment and develop young people’s entrepreneurial competences. In addition, the participants had the chance to discover the host territory, to exchange cultures, typical food of each country, dances and traditions through an intercultural night.

The youth exchange was coordinated by UniGrowth Development Center in cooperation with Romanian NA and Club Creativ Plus​. The project was supported by European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.
