Slovakia is one of the European countries where there is not tendency to volunteer and volunteering is undervalued and perceived more like low-class activity, especially among teenagers, students at grammar schools.
The project “Inter(national) Volunteering” aims to inform young people about advantages of volunteering, what skills they can gain through it, how they can improve their language by participation on international programmes and how they can discover different environments, not only international ones but also local ones.The participants involved in the project are coming from Spain, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Greece,Romania and Slovakia.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to € 360 (airplanes, trains and buses; NOTE: Taxis are not included). Food and accommodation will be provided free of charge.
We are looking for 4 participants residing in Spain , who are between 18 and 26 years old and 1 team leader without age limit.
At the end of the project all participants will receive a certificate of participation “Youthpass”.
