TC „Social Business for Inclusion” in Torun, Poland

Representatives of Asociación Projuven took part in the Erasmus+ project „ Social Business for Inclusion”. The training course took place from 29.06 – 9.07.2017 in Torun, Poland and was attended by 27 youth workers from 9 countries (Poland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Spain).

The participants had an opportunity to learn and discuss issues related to Social Economy and possibilities of using its mechanisms for meeting social objectives, including supporting excluded and disadvantaged groups. During the training, participants had a chance not only to discuss their ideas and tools, but also visit local social economy enterprises and see how disadvantaged groups managed to create their own businesses.

The main objectives of the training were as following:

– To provide a platform for exchange of experience and knowledge of best practices in the field of non-formal education regarding Social Economy;

– To develop the skills and knowledge of the participants in the field of non-formal education related to entrepreneurship and economics;

– To discuss and identify new ideas for activities in the field of Social Economy;

– To discuss and identify innovative tools and ways to promote these issues among young people in informal education.

– To establish a network of organizations and individuals who are interested in further cooperation in spreading knowledge about Social Economy among young people as a tool to embody the idea of social equality and helping disadvantaged groups;

– Develop ideas for joint projects and activities in this field in the future.
