Short term group EVS – “Volunteers 4 Tolerance” – Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria

The project “Volunteers 4 Tolerance” is already APPROVED project which will take place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria and will include participants from Italy, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Georgia and Armenia.

Project aims to:

  • Help young people to better understand hate speech, to realize the implications for society and to be able to distinguish it from freedom of speech
  • Provide youth with ways and channels for reporting hate speech online
  • Promote media literacy and safe and tolerant use of the Internet and knowledge of basic legal frameworks among young people to combat cyberbullying

The volunteers will be accommodated for free in fully furnished apartment in single or double room with another person from the same gender. There will be free wifi connection for the whole duration.

The volunteers will be receiving 90 euros as pocket money which will be paid in two settlements – one the beginning of the month and one in the middle.

The volunteers will be receiving 100 euros per month as food money which will be paid in two settlements – one the beginning of the month and one in the middle.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to € 360 (airplanes, trains and buses; NOTE: Taxis are not included).

We are looking for 4 participants residing in Spain , who are over 18 years old.
