Vili participated in the Training Course “Skills 4 Success” organized by PROJUVEN in Torremolinos, Spain
Hello Vili! Can you give us your opinion about the project “Skills 4 Success”?
I have spent an amazing week full of good emotions in Torremolinos, Malaga region, Spain, while taking part in the training course “Skills 4 success” (S4S) from 22 November to 28 November 2017.
On one side we were getting into the deep and detailed sphere of project management. We, as a group, were getting familiar with a topic that is not at all easy to understand at first sight on my opinion but we went through all the information smoothly. We were discussing a lot about the problems and risks that can occur while writing and implementing a project. The workshops and the activities were that well planed and organized that I wasn’t feeling exhausted or overwhelmed with information at any moment. Everything was well balanced.
On the other side we were working in a friendly and relaxed environment. We took our time to get to know each other though different energizers and team/trust building games. We got closer as people and I hope I have made friendships for a long time in the future.
My first training course in Spain could not be better!
What does project managment means to you? and what do project managers do?
Before taking part in the training, project management used to mean something too complicated and vague for me. Now, I feel more informed and more confident to talk about this topic. For me it means to develop yourself through helping others. Project managers are the one that through developing a project idea in their minds, writing it down on paper and implementing it into real actions, help others to see the world with different eyes, to travel and learn and maybe the most important thing – to awaken the desire to develop yourself and progress on your own.
What is the most important thing you have learned during the project?
I think the most important thing I have learned during the project is that no matter how complicated and difficult something can seem, you can always understand it and be good at it. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new.
