Kasija participated in the Youth Exchange “Inter(national) Volunteering” in Modra, Slovakia
Hello Kasija! Can you give us an overall opinion on the project “Inter(national) Volunteering”?
My first youth exchange, could not be better. I have met people from different corners of Europe, each group with a culture and language totally different from ours. We sympathized more with the Greeks, because of our Mediterranean similarities, but those of other countries, shared the same enthusiasm and energy for everything. With this experience, I have learned that although there are people from cultures different from ours, we all have similar goals and desires in life, to be happy and not to cause harm. We have learned through different non formal games, the most important questions of our live. Thanks of this exchange I was able to see how I can transmit my knowledge of volunteering with other young people and how to motivate them.
In general, the program has been fantastic thanks to all those who have been behind it, and the participants who have given a touch of color.
