KA1 “Rights Are 4 All” organized by PROJUVEN in Benalmádena, Spain

In the beginning of May,2022, PROJUVEN had the pleasure to host in Benalmádena, Spain, another great KA1 training course called “Rights Are 4 All”. The project gathered together participants coming from 7 different countries, namely, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria and Spain.

The main aim of the training was to develop youth workers’ knowledge and skills in key concepts of human rights education with minority young people. Thanks to the different non-formal activities, they had the chance to deepen their understanding of concepts of human rights and to learn what must be done to achieve equality and to create more tolerant societies for youth minorities.

During the training week, participants had a chance to work in different international teams and share with each other more about the human rights issues in their country and communities. Together they developed several advocacy campaigns for rising awareness about the discrimination which youth minorities face as well as discussed, their own role in the prevention of minorities human rights abuse and discrimination. In addition, the good weather let us enjoy a nice beach session full of teambuilding games and a lot of fun!

Moreover, during the project, we have organized an intercultural night where each national team presented its own country, food, dances and traditions. Different videos, presentations, Kahoot games and crosswords were offered by each of the teams.

Our training course has ended with the final evaluation and release of Youthpass to all participants. The Youthpass and its benefits were explained during the first day of the training and during the week participants had the chance to reflect on the skills and competences acquired after everyday activities.

This training course was organized thanks to the support of our Spanish National Agency INJUVE through Erasmus Plus programme of the European Union.
