In a recent event held in Spain, the DPCT CCS guidelines document (IO1.3) was presented to an eager and enthusiastic audience. The event was attended by a diverse group of individuals, including educators, students, industry professionals, all of whom were eager to learn more about the project ideas and its results.
The DPCT project is a KA2 youth project that aims to promote digital skills and competencies, transverse competencies, and social inclusion among young people involved in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS). The project has been approved by the Latvian national agency and co-funded by ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union.
During the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the DPCT guidelines, which provide a framework for the development of educational resources and curricula that promote digital and project-based competences for youth in the CCS. The guidelines are designed to be adaptable and flexible, allowing educators to tailor their approaches to meet the unique needs of their students.
In addition to the guidelines, attendees were invited to stay updated and join the MOOC courses that will be developed as part of the DPCT project. These courses will offer a wealth of information and resources designed to support the development of essential digital and other important competences in the CCS.
Overall, the presentation of the DPCT document in Spain generated interest among attendees. The project represents an important step forward in promoting digital skills and competencies among young people, helping to ensure that they are well-equipped to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
