PROJUVEN team is very happy to know that after the KA1 project “Say no to Islamophobia” youth workers who attended the training course in Spain, organized different follow up activities in their local communities.
Below we would like to present you the photos that Veronika Kováčiková (ADEL) sent to us. She is an educator in a Slovak school and during one of her classes, she introduced to her pupils the topic of “Islamophobia” and the importance of accepting and understanding the different cultures. The children were invited to describe their feelings below the pictures she gave them. Some of them wrote a story about what they imagine when looking the pictures and another one replied to questions such as “Why some of them feel sad?”, “Why often people judged them and saying they are dangerous”, “What they are dreaming for?”, etc.
In addition, Veronika is currently writing her Thesis about “Tolerance” and during the training week in Torremolinos, all team received many outcomes from her as well as we hope she received a lot of inspiration and new ideas for her work from the group.
