YUD is a cultural association founded in the city of Ficarazzi (Palermo) April 29, 2015 as a nonprofit organization, promoted by a group of young people, university students and young workers, with the aim of promoting activities that can spread a culture of peace and solidarity contributing to the cultural and psychological growth of all those who follow the activities. The association started right away to be interested in the socio-cultural aspects of southern Italy, in particular on the current phenomenon of migration in recent years now become relevant in the Sicilian region. It aims to achieve its objectives through workshops, international cultural exchanges, seminars and research that dealing with issues of shared interest, ranging from health and wellness to politics and the economy, from philosophy to environment protection, taking into account how these branches of knowledge are in fact closely related to each other.
