This training course is part of the KA2 Strategic Partnership Tackle Hate. The training activities will be aiming to provide youth workers a better understanding to recognize what online hate speech is, know the difference between freedom of speech and what is prohibited, such as illegal hate speech; to understand how social media is used to recruit followers to the hate speech narrative, especially the ones against against migrants and refugees and to develop youth workers’ competencies in planning cross border and international campaign for combating online hate speech.
The project involves 4 countries: Spain, Bulgaria, Estonia and The Netherlands.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to € 360 (airplanes, trains and buses; NOTE: Taxis are not included). Food and accommodation will be provided free of charge.
We are looking for 5 participants residing in Spain , who are between 18 and 35 years old.
At the end of the project all participants will receive a certificate of participation “Youthpass”.
