#PJstories – Interview with Francisco Jeuniaux

Francisco participated in the Training Course “Good Jobs Green Jobs” organized by PROJUVEN in Benalmádena, Spain

Hello Francisco! Can you give us your opinion about the project “Good Jobs Green Jobs“?

It was an interesting experience. I had the chance to meet new people and discover new cultures. Moreover, I found the project topic interesting, themes which is related to my studies so this project will also help me during my studies.

Why is promoting the green economy so crucial? How can the green and just transition benefit the job career of young people?

It is important to promote the green economy because it is the next step of our society. Our society can’t go on generating that many wastes and overconsuming that much energy. Changes started but it isn’t enough, we must promote the green economy in order to make sure this green transition evolves faster and better. Furthermore, this transition is crucial for the career of young people. As a matter of fact, that green transition is creating new kind of jobs, so it is important for the young generation to be interested in that transition but also participates in it because they will need those skills later in their career.

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training? How do you plan to share and use your knowledge?

I have learned that communication is the key to success. As a matter of fact, the moment I learned the most was during the debates because everyone could share their skills and experience. I think that if we influence people to share their ideas and experience it will just be beneficial for a greater amount of people. I will clearly try to interact more and more in discussions or other projects to learn new skills but also to share to other people my own experience.
