As follow up of the project “Rights Are 4 All”, the Slovak team have decided to share more about their educational and intercultural experience acquired during their stay in Spain. In order to do so, the team organized an online workshop for young people from their community where they introduced them to the topics which were discussed during the training and the outcomes produced after several workshops, debates and intercultural talks.
Youngsters were introduced to different concepts such as “majority” and “minority” groups, and learnt in detail what are the main barriers youth minorities face when it comes to education, job or simply realizing social activities. They have explained to the public that we are all responsible for the integration and accommodation of minority groups, therefore, each of us have a special role to play in ensuring that the rights of minorities are respected and protected.
